A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER OF EQUIP MINISTRIES USA
Dave Glander here.

Before you close this page, I want to take a moment to share something that's been burning in my heart for more than 20 years.
Shortly after I became a Christian, I came across a T-shirt that stopped me in my tracks. It read:

“Dear God, why do You allow violence in schools?”
— Concerned Student
And underneath it:

“Dear Concerned Student, I’m not allowed in schools.”
— God
That simple message hit me hard.

It started me on a journey that has continued for more than two decades—and that journey has ultimately led to what you just read about.

I've spent years thinking, praying, learning, failing, trying again, and watching God open doors. And through it all, I've become more convinced than ever of something:

Where God is welcomed, things change.

Not because we're clever enough.
Not because we have the perfect program.
Not because we have unlimited resources.

Because God changes things.

When His people show up with courage, humility, excellence, and a willingness to serve, something happens. Lives can change. Families can change. Schools can change. Communities can change.

And that's why I need you.

I can't do this from one location.

As much as I would love to be everywhere, I can only physically be in one place at a time. But you are already where the mission needs to happen. You're in the community. You're connected to the people. You're close to the school. You have opportunities I'll never have.

So I'm asking you—seriously—pray about getting involved.

Don't just read through this and think, “That's a great idea.”

Ask yourself:

“What if God wants ME to do something about it?”

What if your church adopted a school?
What if you started an EQUIP Club?
What if you gathered people to pray?
What if you served the teachers?
What if you met a real need?
What if you helped students wrestle with the hard questions of faith?
What if you became the person who finally said, “We're going to do something”?

Imagine what could happen if churches and believers across America stopped waiting for someone else to reach the next generation—and started showing up themselves.

That's the heart behind all of this.

I'm here. I'll help. I'll share what we've learned. I'll walk with you as far as I possibly can.

But I can't do it alone.

Neither can you.

But together—with God's help—we can do something extraordinary.

So please… don't just close this page.

Pray. Talk to your church. Gather some people. Make the call. Take the first step.

Because somewhere right now, there is a student who needs hope, a teacher who needs encouragement, a family that needs help, and a community that needs to see what happens when God's people decide to show up.
